Brilliant Latin percussionist, dancer, and educator, Dr. Benedicto "Benny" Maldonado, hails from Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. His work on "Lavar Las Manos" makes the song ever so danceable! Dr. Maldonado has recorded many previous albums with José V and he was a core member of the 2015 Latin GRAMMY Nominated album, "I Make You Want To Move." Dr. Maldonado's versatility landed him a musical theater stint with Sarasota's Westcoast Black Theater Troup. His honorary doctorate was awarded by Truth and Mercy Institute for his contributions to field of music education, specifically for being a leader of providing early-learning music education opportunities for Latino kids across the United States of America.
